Complex notes of black cherry, dried strawberry, plum skin and cocoa nib. Swirling adds sweetness and depth, with plum puree, strawberry jam, sage and toasty notes of pie crust and spice. The palate is plush with sweet red fruits, fine tannins and lively acidity. A perfect mid-weight red that’s juicy and fruit filled.

  • In 2022, a cool and moist spring contributed to an abundant crop with larger canopies. Increased summer temperatures aided in ripening the crop. Fall remained clear until mid-October, when rain arrived in Walla Walla valley and the Columbia basin. The vintage features high anthocyanin levels and great textural depth, promising plush, elegant wines with good aging potential.
