Saturated with wild notes of blackberry, black currant jam, black tea and spring flowers. Swirling adds plum puree, coffee, clove spice and rich milk chocolate. The palate is ripe and tense at the same time due to the whole cluster inclusion. Hints of bacon fat and pressed black fruits carry through to a floral and long structured finish.

  • In 2022, a cool and moist spring contributed to an abundant crop with larger canopies. Increased summer temperatures aided in ripening the crop. Fall remained clear until mid-October, when rain arrived in Walla Walla valley and the Columbia basin. The vintage features high anthocyanin levels and great textural depth, promising plush, elegant wines with good aging potential.
